Wilmot is a small rural settlement west of Lake Barrington, surrounded by farms, plantations and forested hills. Services are limited, so it is best treated as part of a planned drive rather than a guaranteed meal or fuel stop.

Roads set the pace

Approaches from Sheffield, Forth and Moina include bends, crests and logging or farm traffic. Keep left, drive to the visible distance and avoid dusk travel where wildlife is active.
