Accuracy and sources

We prefer original and authoritative sources, including Tasmanian Government agencies, councils, cultural institutions, official organisers and primary records. Important dates, prices, addresses, operational changes and claims must have clear provenance.

Automation

Automation can discover sources, extract structured facts, identify possible duplicates, suggest links and prepare drafts. It cannot override core risk rules. Rumours, anonymous allegations, private information and unverified accusations are never eligible for automatic publication. Sensitive topics require review.

Original work

Source material is evidence, not copy. Our Tasmania does not perform sentence-by-sentence rewrites of other publications. Historical pages are used to recover topics and URL paths only.

Attribution

We do not invent human authors. Automated and organisation-authored work is attributed to Our Tasmania Editorial, with human review recorded where it occurs.
